it was fun..

wew. Our performance turned out to be great! Although it was exhausting, it was a worthwhile experience for all of us. It was really tiring to explain things over and over again. *sigh* Nevertheless, I had fun. During my solo, I had a little mistake but it wasn’t that obvious. Good thing! :D

I have been wondering. How does HE do it? Go to my school and wait for me eventhough we go home late. No one has ever done that to me except for my family. *thinking*

wee. I’m happy that my activities are now lesser. *whew* Our next activity… the PROM. I still have problems about that. Since I am the class treasurer, I am obliged to collect the payment of my classmates for our prom. The problem is that, I lost it. Well, not actually. Someone stole it and I still don’t know who it was. Now, I’m having problems on how to cover the amount that was stolen. I have saved some but it’s still not enough. What am I going to do? :’(

*sigh* I have not yet decided if I would run in the school election. 2 out of 3 people said that I should run. The other one said it’s up to me. I still need more comments! Please comment guys. Thanks.

oh well.. it’s their choice..

February 2nd, 2007 by marz-cute

The plebiscite has been done and most of the my schoolmates voted that the old constitution should not be changed. I actually voted for the new constitution; but still that wasn’t enough. I just realized that many of us are ignorant people. No offense but this is reality. Admit it. Well, I admit that I ignorant sometimes. But in cases like these, we should really be careful and we should be aware of evrerything that’s happening around us. Before the plebiscite, each class was given a copy of the old and new constitutions but only a few people dared to read those. Because of this ignorance, we made the wrong decision. Instead of having a much better set of incoming officials of our school, the story would be just be repeated - where the new set of officials will start from scratch. I also understand that it was not thoroughly explained to the whole school. The pros and cons were not really discussed. But we can’t do anything about it. Everything has been done. Now, we have to stick to the old constitutions which has a lot of errors.

So much for that. Our report in Physics turned out great. Eventhough it was crammed, we got through it. hehe.

Anyway, tomorrow is already our performance in the Musikarisyo. I’m not nervous yet. And tomorrow, I know I’ll be. Wish us luck!

*sigh* Could you guys please help me?! I’m having a hard time right now deciding if I should run in this year’s Student Alliance elections. I’ll really appreciate it if you comment. :D

haiz..

weeeeeee. Finally, three days of nerve-wrecking exams are over. Our Achievement Tests were really hard. Most of my answers were simply guessed. The tension in the exams became worse since the air was sooo cold that my hands were also cold. It was making me uncomfortable while answering. I even brought a little figure of Mother Mary. LoLs. *sigh* I just wish all the nights that I have spent burning my midnight candle were all worth it. Studying all our lessons from the first quarter until the present?! It’s really It’s still okay if I’m not one of the top scorers in the exam for as long as I pass. hehe.

Anyway, tomorrow would be back to normal. It’s really unfair. We weren’t given a day to rest. Well, our class was just half-day; but still, it’s unfair. We will report in Physics tomorrow and we don’t yet have our materials for reporting. We will be cramming again tomorrow. As we say, Crammers Rule! hehe.

I have so much to do these days. This friday, we’re having a plebiscite in our school since there’s a new constitution that’s being passed on. Since I’m a member of the Electoral Board, I’m involved in the facilitating of the said event.

Also, our performing arts group - MusikaRisyo - will be performing this weekend. I’m really nervous since I have a solo. *phew* Well, just wish me luck guys. I really hope that I wouldn’t mess up.

Another activity that is in my calendar is our prom. I’m not really excited about that. I like such gatherings but it really costs a lot. I mean, I have many expenses and this is the most costly. Anyways, I hope this event is not a waste of time.

Darn! I still have this financial problem. Now, I know what happened to our class funds that suddenly vanished. Someone has been robbing it all along. But I still don’t know who’s behind it. Oh well, to that person: Please return everything that you got from our class. hmph. If you don’t, go to hell! haha. LoLs.

hmm. What else? … I’ve got nothing more to say. That would be all for now. Ciao!

haaayz..

October 31st, 2006 by marz-cute

haayz. We just arrived from Cebu the other day and I still have a hang-over. I really never thought I’d enjoy our field trip this much. I have so much to tell.

October 26, 2006
We had classes in the morning, which was kinda lousy ’cause we really didn’t do anything. We just made noise and laughed about the two guys that were HHWW (holding hands while walking). Well, there was a group who visited our school (and we don’t know why.. there’s nothing to see there..), the two guys were a part of that group. We were really shocked. Also, we sent some files from jim’s new phone to our phones via bluetooth. hehe. And guess what.. uwat ngay-an kami! hehe. Anyway, im the afternoon, I went home. I packed my things and watched tv. I was really excited about the trip. At 4pm, my parents fetched me at home and then dropped me in school. They waited for us to leave. Then at past 5, we left for Ormoc. In our the bus, we were kinda noisy, especially the boys, and the teachers told us not to keep quiet ’cause "the driver needs concentration". Yeah right, whatever! Since it was not that noisy in front, I transfered in the back with GiP9080177anelli and Ena. See the pic on the right? You know who that is? Elmerei and Ricafort! haha. Think anything about this pic. :D We arrived in Ormoc at past 7. We had our dinner in Jollibee. After dinner, we directly went to the port and boarded in the ship. We played cards in the ship. Albeth, Ena, Gianelli, and I played "unggoy-unggoy" but it had a twist. The one who loses would be put with powder on her face. Kitaa it pic ha ubos kun hino it pirdido:            P9080185_1

October 27, 2006

Gianelli, Marvin, and Ididn’t sleep the whole night. We just talked and played. Gia and I were about to sleep in the ship when soneone said, "Hoy! Tayo na. Alis na tayo."  Gia and i were like, "Ano ba yan?" Anyway, we directly had our breakfast at Hanga Bai. The food wasn’t that good. After that, our chaperones said that we should just brush our teeth there because the hotel was still full. The statement that made us agree to brush our teeth there was.. "You brush your teeth na lang here. Kasi kung sa hotel pa kayo magbrabrush, mamaya pa tayo makakapunta dun dahil full pa. Pupunta tayo sa USC baka sabihin na ang babad breath niyo." hehe. So, we all decided to brush our teeth at Hanga Bai. Fortunately, we were able to go to the hotel and wash ourselves. After that, we went to University of San Carlos - Computer Engineering Department. The tour was kinda lousy ’cause HANGGANG PINTO LANG KAMI! Well, except for the last room that we visited. After USC, we went to Cebu City Hall - Management Information and Computer Services Department. We were lectured about their functions, facilities and other stuffs they do in their office. During the lecture, I was dozing off. hehe. After MICS, we went to lunch in Sugbahan. The food was good, better than the other restaurant. We were complaining the whole day because we thought the other group would be with us too. Unfortunately, the two groups were separated. Anyway, after eating our lunch, we went to the International Pharmaceuticals Incorporated(IPI). The only thing we saw there was the packaging of BioDerm Germicidal Soap. They also gave us a little lecture about their products. They gave us this comic book about the uses of their products. It was really funny. Corny! After IPI, we went to University of San Jose - Recoletos. We had a little lecture. The main topic of our lecture was the school’s achievement, their facilities, and other stuffs about the school, which gave us a bad impression about the lecturer(the dean). "Hambog man adto. Chaka." One of my groupmates said that. After the lecture, we had a tour around one of their buildings. Damn, it was cool. Their rooms were air-conditioned including the chapel and the library, the best part of that building. hehe. Ganado talaga. As in. An amon tour guide ngadto kay cute. haha. I’m not the only one who said that. :D Anyway, after USJ-R, we went to Smart. We first had a lecture about networking. Since the lecturer sensed that we were hungry and bored, he shortened his talk. hehe. Then, we had a tour in their restricted(?) areas. We asked a lot of questions about their network like, "why do we receive our messages late?", "bakit nachecheck-op ako kaagad kahit may load ako pero hindi naman ako nagtetext?", the usual questions. hehe. I learned a lot there. hehe. Also, the lecturer there was cute. Galing pumorma, asya napikat hi ma’am. haha. LoLs. We had our dinner in the same restaurant during our lunch. And that time, the other group was there so it was really noisy there. We had fun during that day. We sang different songs. haha. Backseat Boys an nagpatikang. hehe. Anyways, we were laughing about our tour guide the whole day. Her laugh was so funny. We coded her Kim Sam Soon ’cause she’s chubby. hehe. So much about her. After dinner we went back to the hotel. We did not sleep right away because Jj’s friend was there. So I had an aquaintance. hehe. We were almost caught for having him in our room. hehe. But we hid him in the closet. We almost did not sleep again. hehe. My roomies: (Sayang. Wala si Reena.) Dscn3062

October 28, 2006
We woke up early eventhough we were still sleepy. Jim’s call woke me up. At 7am, we left and checked-out from the hotel. The first place that we visited was the Philippine Taoist Temple. We took pictures there. Also, we made wishes to Kyongwowo(?) It was actually fun wishing. hehe. Elmerei, James, and I were almost left behind. Good thing Sir Rolex saw us. hehe. Then, we had our breakfast. After there, we went to Grand Milling Corporation. Many of us dozed off during the lecture including me. haha. It was good that they offered snacks. hehe. We were toured around. We were wondering why our topic there was Computer Science where it should be Chemistry. Oh well. During the tour, we saw something that said, "Push the button", Sugababes came into my mind. Then, I came up with a group name for girls, Jugababes! haha.

Marz: Meldz, alam ko na yung name para sa atin.
Meldz: Ano man?
Marz: Jugababes.
Dave: Ha. Jugababes. hehe.

This started our group which consists of me, Melody, Gianelli, Ena, Glennie, and Mutya. We thought of many names like Parokya ni Mara, EV babes which stands for Eastern Visayas babes. haha. and many more. The Backseat Boys also helped us in thinking. We all came up with ATOMIC CHICKEN! hehe. Our tagline is "Chicken Out". ahehe. We collaborated with the Backseat Boys. LoLs. the Backseat Boys consists of Billy, Dave, Jim, Richard, and Jose and their tagline is "No Way". hehe. Anyway, so much for that. Now where were we? After GMC, we went to Mactan, we toured around there. We also ate our lunch in a sutukil in Mactan. We ate fast because we want to finish the tour and go to Ayala and SM. But unfortunatley, the teachers includingthe tour guide were still eating. We were furious about this.

"Ses. Asya ngani nagpaspas para matapos dayon. Tapos adto pa hira naglilinamon"

Anyway, after lunch, we went to Liwayway - the manufacturer of Oishi. We toured around the factory. We were given food after the tour. hehe. After that, we directly went to the bus. We were excited ‘ceuse we coulde now go to SM. hehe. It was about 4pm when we arrived there. WE were about to watch The Grudge 2 but it already started so we decided to go to the arcade. Then, we went around the mall. It was soooo tiring to walk around. hehe. By the way, Eric Santos was having a show there. hehe. Honestly, he was good-looking. hehe. At 7pm, we ate dinner. After eating we directly went to the port. That was the end of our field trip.

I really had a good time during that trip. I wish it would happen again. Haaayz.

October 23rd, 2006 by marz-cute

haaayz. i don’t know. Just when I thought my day was fine, it suddenly turned out bad. Earlier, I was having fun while we were playing in our classroom. And the next thing I have is a bad news. Argh! It’s just that our field trip to Cebu is fast approaching. And the bad news is, I might not be able to go. Damn! I hate it when this kind of situation happens. It’s like I have these plans and suddenly, *poof*, they’re gone.

Well, it’s just okay for me if I don’t go but I will miss everything - all the fun, and other stuffs. (So, it’s not okay) And then, I’ll be stuck here in our house, thinking about my batchmates, crying, thinking of  what ifs, and doing the remedial activities that our teachers gave for the "left-overs", which I think I would be the only one so that makes me the only "left-over". Darn.. When they return, they would talk about it in school and laugh about their misadventures. Then, I would be "out of place".

waaaaaah. i don’t know. It’s driving me crazy. I just don’t know what to do. Why do I have to undergo these problems, specially financial problems?  haaayz. Unta makalusot pa ak. *sigh*

I don’t really blame my parents for this, but … Well okay, I sort of blame them. But that’s not going to change anything. Instead, it would just make me feel worse.

haaaaayz.. huhu..T_T

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart rocks!

October 20th, 2006 by marz-cute

Yesterday, we finished watching the movie, Amadeus, for our Social Science3. That movie really amazed me. It made me realize that the music of composers like Beethoven, Haydn, Bach, Mozart, and others were not so bad after all. They’re such remarkable prodigies. To tell you honestly, I’m not a fan of classical music before but I liked them in one way or another. It was in this movie that made me appreciate such music more.

The movie is not the biography of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, nor was it intended to be. This film tells about Mozart and his arch-rival , the Court Composer, Antonio Salieri. I bet you’ve never heard of Antonio Salieri. I’ve never heard his name until I’ve watched this movie.  Well, he’s been "behind the shadows" of Mozart. He admired Mozart’s music but at the same time he was frightened because he couldn’t understand the existence of such absolute musical genius in Mozart. He was accused of killing Mozart but there were no evidences besides hi confession. It wasn’t really portrayed in the film that Salieri really killed Mozart.

There were many unforgettable things in the movie:

  • Mozart’s laugh in the movie. It sounded like one of our teacher’s laugh. It was very funny. hihi.
  • the actor who’s playing the role of Mozart (Tom Hulce) looks like the lead singer of Simple Plan.
  • Mozart was a very childish person.
  • Mozart is such an incredible man.
  • Mozart never makes copies of his pieces
  • All of Mozart’s original copies of his pieces have no corrections/revisions.
  • Mozart was a playboy in a way.
  • Salieri claimed himself as the "patron saint of all mediocrity"
  • Mozart can relay messages backwards mentally. Example: "ssaymssik" = kiss my ass

I got really interested about Mozart’s life. I wanted to know more about his life. So I researched about him in the internet. Here are some facts I found:

  • Mozart’s baptismal name was Joannes Chrysostomus Wofgangus Theophilus Mozart. Whew! What a name…  He only used his 3rd and 4th name Wolfgangus Theophilus which was translated into Latin; thus, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart!
  • Less than 70 of his 626 known compositions were published during his lifetime.
  • Mozart had an everlasting predilection towards letters, rhymes, poems and puns (verbal as well as written) concerning bodily functions as well as sex
  • Leopold Mozart(his father) vehemently opposed to his marriage to Constanze
  • His first compositions, a small Andante and Allegro, were written when he was five

Damn! He’s so good. I wish I had his talent. hehe.
